Oakwood School’s goal is to provide an academic program that meets not only the goals and objectives addressed in each Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), but also to create a learning environment where students can relax and enjoy the educational process. We constantly address and monitor the academic, social and emotional well-being of each student.

Oakwood School contains six self-contained classrooms holding no more than 6-10 students. Each classroom has a Highly Qualified Teacher of the Disabled along with an either college educated or an experienced aide. In some classrooms, depending on the student needs, there are two certified teachers.

Oakwood School offers instruction in the following subjects:
